GREENVILLE, N.C. — In a 16-team field with five top-100 squads and nine top-150 squads, App State Women's Golf closed the regular season by placing seventh Tuesday at the Ironwood Invitational.
With
Salem Lee (77-73-75—225) and
Zoe Duval (76-74-75—225) both tying for 17th place at 9 over in the 54-hole event, the Mountaineers finished at 44 over as a team, three shots behind 68th-ranked Louisville.
App State's 7-over 295 on Monday via contributions from
Alisa Pressley (73), Lee (73), Duval (74) and
Ona Lukes (75) tied for the best second round in the entire field.
Pressley finished at 14 over, followed by Lukes at 17 over and
Maria Pinedo at 28 over.
East Carolina (13 over) won the team title by 12 shots over Charleston, and ECU's Nicole Nash was the medalist at 5 under.
App State's 2026 spring season is presented by Hound Ears Club. Next for the Mountaineers is the Sun Belt Championship tournament, which begins April 20 in Fairhope, Ala.
