Beer
- Beer is sold at a variety of locations throughout the stadium through the end of the third quarter.
- Per NC law, all patrons of legal drinking age are permitted to purchase a maximum of two alcoholic beverages per valid ID for each transaction.
- Patrons will not be permitted to leave the stadium with alcohol purchased within the venue.
- Beer prices range from $10 to $14 per can. Bud Light, Busch Light and Michelob Ultra will be among the new choices at concession stands this fall, in addition to craft beer from local brewery, Booneshine.
Cellular service enhancement
- With App State's installation of cellular phone service boosters throughout Kidd Brewer Stadium in 2023, T-Mobile has committed to helping its customers who attend games at The Rock.

Clear Bag Policy
- Kidd Brewer Stadium has employed a clear bag policy since 2017, intended to enhance patron safety and expedite stadium entry by reducing the time required searching bags at stadium gates. The policy aligns with clear bag policies from other NCAA FBS institutions and the National Football League.
- Approved bags include clear plastic bags that do not exceed 12" x 6" x 12" and small clutch purses no larger than 4.5" x 6.5".
- Bags that are not approved include diaper bags, backpacks, binocular cases, camera cases, tinted or printed pattern plastic bags, fanny packs, oversized tote bags & mesh bags, and purses exceeding 4.5" x 6.5".
- Yosef's Locker and the North End Zone plaza merchandise tent sell approved clear bags for fans.
Clear bag exceptions will be made for medically necessary items after proper inspection at Kidd Brewer Stadium entrances.
Concert
- A pregame concert will take place on the Jerry Moore Plaza outside the North End Zone for the Sept. 6 home opener vs. Lindenwood, with App State alum Adam Church on the stage from 1:30-3 p.m. before the 3:30 kickoff.
Concessions
- This fall's concessions offer many points of sale and a menu designed to create fast lines.
- Concession stands accept cash and card payments, with one dedicated cash-only lane at each main concession stand on the East and West concourses.
- Yosef's Sweet Shack - introduced in 2023 - is located in the West concourse and includes three frozen alcoholic slushy options, along with additional non-alcoholic and alcoholic beverages.
- The Locker Room Grab & Go station with quick snacks and beverages will be available again this season in the West concourse, and there will also be an enhanced Grab & Go station on the East side (serving snacks and alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages).
- Food trucks will be present throughout the stadium, including The Cardinal, Hungry Howies, Little Wing Ice Cream, Taqueria La Monarca and Sunset Slush.
- Condiment pumps will be utilized rather than individual condiment packets.
- Shelled peanuts will now be offered for purchase in concession areas.
- Pizza will be available to purchase by fans who have tickets in the west side club level.
Customer Service
- For sold-out games, the ticket windows at the front of the North End Zone will serve as customer service booths for fan questions on game day.
Entry
Continuing a safety feature established in 2023, all five entrances to Kidd Brewer Stadium (listed below) will have walk-through metal detectors — fans will not be asked to remove keys, phones or other common items before passing through the metal detector.Â

- Fans who exit Kidd Brewer Stadium during the game may not re-enter.

- First aid stations are located behind sections 101 and 102 on the West side and under section 218 on the East side.

Free Ice Cream at Sept. 6 Game
- Mars ice cream bars – 10,000 total! – will be handed out for free outside the stadium at some tailgate lots and premium stadium entrances before the Sept. 6 home game against Lindenwood.

- Subject to change, gates will open two hours before kickoff for fans (and two and a half hours before kickoff for Student Yosef Club members) for all home games.

Lost and Found
- Any lost items during the game will be brought to the first-floor lobby of the Mark E. Ricks Athletics Complex (or the first-floor lobby of the North End Zone facility for patrons in the North End Zone).
- After the game, all unclaimed items are turned over to the App State Police Department (828-262-2150).

There are four Mountaineer Merch locations, with lots of variety for App State fans. That includes signature game day items worn by Coach Loggains as well as premium offerings. The three locations are:
- Jerry Moore Plaza (pregame only — opening four hours before kickoff and closing at kickoff)
- West concourse within the Locker Room Equipment station that's adjacent to the Locker Room Grab & Go station
- South end of the East concourse
In addition, the Yosef's Locker rebranded team store on the first floor of the North End Zone facility is open on game days from 10 a.m. until one hour after each game ends.

Mobile Tickets (Full Guide)
- Kidd Brewer Stadium non-premium tickets became digital starting in 2022, and new ticket technology is in place for 2025 to make entry faster and easier.Â
- Fans should download their mobile tickets to their phone before arriving at Kidd Brewer Stadium.
- To download your ticket to your primary device, log into your account and download your ticket to your mobile wallet. If you need to share or transfer tickets, use the "My Account" transfer option (screenshots, emails or texts will not work).
- No more scanning barcodes. Just tap your phone or watch at the gate – like paying with Apple Pay or Google Pay.
- Download your season ticket to your mobile wallet once and it's good for the entire season.
- For fans who have not yet downloaded their tickets, two mobile ticket download stations will be available next to Trivette Hall and in the residence hall quad between Laurel Creek Hall, Thunder Hill Hall and Raven Rocks Hall. If your mobile device is not working, you will be redirected to the ticket windows at the front of the North End Zone.

Mountaineer Walk - NEW ROUTE IN 2025!
- Fans can greet App State football team members as they walk from the Harrill Practice Facility down Stadium Drive and Jack Branch Drive to the Echota West Gate (roughly 2 hours, 40 minutes) before kickoff on each game day.Â
- Mountaineer Walk for 3:30 p.m. games will begin at 12:50 p.m.
- Sections of Stadium Drive and Jack Branch Drive will be closed to vehicle traffic around the Mountaineer Walk.

Outside Food & Drink
- No outside food or drink is accepted into Kidd Brewer Stadium. One unopened standard-size bottle of water per patron is allowed for home games in 2024.

Parking & Tailgating
- Yosef Club parking lot information and map.
- Yosef Club parking lots will open to passholders for tailgating at 8 a.m. for games with 2:30 or 3:30 p.m. start times (subject to change), including the Sept. 6 opener that kicks off at 3:30 p.m.
- Fans who do not have a Yosef Club parking pass can purchase single-game parking for $50 in the new Watauga County Parking Deck near the courthouse at 140 N. Water Street.
- Fans can park for free at Levine College of Health Sciences (75 first-come, first-serve spaces) and take the AppalCART route to campus. Other game day parking options can be found at Explore Boone's Guide to Game Day Parking.
- Tailgating times are subject to change based on kickoff times as they are announced.
- Student tailgating information can be found at the Office of Campus Activities web page.
- Malt beverages and unfortified wine may be consumed in designated tailgating locations by those fans of legal drinking age. Those who choose to consume alcohol must be able to present a valid driver's license or photo ID to reflect their age upon request. Spiritous liquor, kegs, common containers and glass containers are not permitted in any tailgating location. No outside alcohol is permitted inside Kidd Brewer Stadium.

RestroomsÂ
- In addition to permanent restrooms on all four sides of Kidd Brewer Stadium, App State is bringing portable toilets to supplement concourses and under the North End Zone bleachers for all 2025 games.
- Additional urinals were added in the west concourse men's restrooms in 2024 to prevent long lines.
- Portable toilets are provided in parking/tailgate areas.

- Kidd Brewer Stadium is a smoking-free facility. Smoking of tobacco products and electronic cigarettes/vaping is strictly prohibited.
Spectator Improvements and Offerings
- Concrete upgrades have been made in the East and West stands, with work from App State Football alum Mike Strickland and Metro Waterproofing Inc.
- A brand-new field-level suite in the southeast corner of Kidd Brewer Stadium is available to rent on a per-game basis (limited availability). With room for up to 30 people, the suite includes food and drink. More info is available by contacting justin.hukill@playfly.com.
- All seats in the North End Zone club level have been upgraded for the 2025 season.
Sustainability
- Recycle (blue), compost (green), and waste (gray/black) containers are available throughout the stadium.
- Fans are encouraged to recycle plastic, glass, metal and clean paperboard products in BLUE recycling receptacles.
- Compost leftover food waste and paper products in GREEN compost carts throughout the stadium.
- The Locker Room Grab & Go station includes more aluminum cans and less plastic products for better environmental sustainability.
- Recycling and trash bags will be handed out by staff/volunteers in all tailgate lots so please be sure to recycle your bottles, cans, and clean cardboard!Â
Tagboard
- Fans who use each game's custom hashtag (e.g. #BeatLU on Sept. 6) will have the chance to see their social media posts shared on the main videoboard during game day.

Temporary BleachersÂ
- For all 2025 games, temporary bleachers in the North End Zone will add roughly 2,000 seats to the stadium's capacity.

Traffic Flow
- During pregame, on-campus traffic for vehicles with parking passes will be routed up Stadium and Jack Branch Drive and out by Stadium Deck, the Schaefer Center and back onto Rivers Street.
- Postgame traffic will all be directed away from Kidd Brewer Stadium. App State police and traffic attendants will determine which way traffic is routed onto Rivers Street and away from campus based on the flow or backup of vehicles.

- Fans can enjoy live footage of the game in progress on TVs in the East and West concourses, as well as premium areas.

Video Board
- Constructed in 2017, the main Kidd Brewer Stadium video board has 2,500 square feet of 13HD technology by Daktronics. It measures 50 feet high by 90 feet wide. Ribbon boards on the East, West and North give fans an immersive video board experience.

Water Fountains
- Water fountains are available in the concourses, and there will be a hydration station in the south end of Kidd Brewer Stadium. Fans may bring in one unopened standard-size bottle of water to each 2024 home game.

Weather Delays
- If lightning is detected within eight miles, stadium patrons must be evacuated to their cars or designated areas on campus for their safety until the storm has passed.
- Any evacuation procedures will be instructed via the in-stadium PA announcer.Â
- Visitors can also sign up for stadium safety alerts by texting AppStateALERT to 67283 on game day.
Yikas Rewards
- Yikas Rewards is a student-only rewards program that requires a valid App State student email address to join.
- Open the App State Athletics App on your mobile device, select "more" in the bottom navigation bar and click "Student Rewards" in the menu. Enter your information, including your student email address, and a confirmation message will be sent to your email. Then click "Confirm your email."

Yosef Club
- The Yosef Club is the annual fundraising component of the Mountaineers Athletic Fund.
- For more than 50 years, the Yosef Club has provided scholarships for App State student-athletes.
- Yosef Club members receive a variety of benefits. Members with season tickets receive their own parking pass for all home football and basketball games. Other benefits include a quarterly newsletter and special events throughout the year.Â

Yosef's Locker
- Yosef's Locker is the team store on the first floor of Kidd Brewer Stadium's North End Zone facility.
- New and improved merchandise selection is sold seven days a week (full store hours here).
- On game days, Yosef's Locker opens at 10 a.m. and remains open until one hour after each home game ends.
