How to Join: Yikas Rewards is a student-only rewards program and you must have a valid student App State email address to join. 

1. Open the App State Athletics App on your mobile device and select "more" in the bottom navigation bar.
2. Click "Student Rewards" in the menu
3. Enter your information, including your student email address.
4. A confirmation message will be sent to your email. Click "Confirm your email"

If you happen to sign out of rewards or need to install the app again, just re-submit your email and follow the same steps


How to Check-in & Earn Points: Fans can check into an event for points when the event is live and you are physically at the venue where the event is taking place.

1. Make sure you are currently signed into rewards and location services are turned on

2. Find the check-in button on your home screen underneath the schedule card of the event you are attending. The button will be grayed out until you are a) at the venue where the event is taking place and b) the event has started

3. Once the two stipulations above have been met, click on the now-activated check-in button to check-in

Point values for events will follow the below formula. There will be special events (double-point days) where points for an event may change to add additional reward opportunities.

• Football = 1 point
• Conference Men's Basketball = 2 points
• Baseball, Non-conference Men's Basketball, Volleyball, & Women's Basketball = 3 points
• All other Olympic sports = 4 points

How to Redeem Prizes: A list of prizes can be found in the Rewards platform under "Prizes". Once you've earned enough points to redeem a certain prize of your choice, that prize will be unlocked. Tapping on that prize in the list will open up a detailed view. If the prize is able to be redeemed a button at the bottom of the screen will appear that says "Redeem for ## points". Tap there and follow the directions given on the redemption screens. Supplies may be limited! 

Redeeming a prize will "spend" the amount of points that equals the value of the prize you redeemed. Although points will be subtracted from your profile, the app keeps track of the total number of points you've earned over a given period of time and ranks you against other participants. The participants with the highest number of points over time could be eligible for special value prizes.
