The Performance Nutrition Department is committed to fueling student-athlete’s health and well-being by utilizing evidence-based information to promote optimal athletic performance, minimize injury and illness risk, and build championship seasons with quality athletic experiences.
PURPOSE
To create sustainable and nutritious habits through meaningful interactions and education that allows student-athletes to be competitive in their sport, in the classroom, and to embody a healthy lifestyle for years to come.

Medical Nutrition Therapy
- Disordered eating and eating disorders, RED-S (relative energy deficiency in sport), Female athlete triad
- Altered nutrition related lab values: low vitamin and mineral levels
- Perioperative injury needs: inflammation management, attenuation of muscle loss, weight management
