NORTH MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. — App State Men's Golf will be the host school for the Surf Club Invitational played Monday and Tuesday at the Surf Golf and Beach Club.
There will be 18 full teams, plus individuals, in a 108-player field on the par-72 layout.
The 54-hole schedule calls for 36 holes Monday, with an 9 a.m. shotgun start, followed by a final 18 holes on Tuesday with an 9 a.m. shotgun start.
Play will be five-man teams, with the best four scores counting toward the round total.
App State's primary lineup will consist of
Ben Read,
Herman Huus,
Alex Martin,
Max Cranford and
Aidan Browning.
Rob Bergevin,
Cole Bergheim,
Jack Seward and
James Gradisek will compete as individuals.
The Mountaineers have been responsible for the last two medalists in the event, with Huus taking first in 2025 after Addison Beam finished first in 2024. App State finished second behind Longwood in the 2025 team race, and the Mountaineers placed third behind Connecticut and Radford in 2024.
The 2026 spring season is presented by Hound Ears Club.
