Last Time Out
The Mountaineers recently earned a road victory over UNC Asheville in Asheville, N.C. App State clinched the doubles point against the Bulldogs, with Savannah Dada-Mascoll and Isabela Romanichen securing their second consecutive win as a pair. With this doubles victory, Dada-Mascoll reached the impressive milestone of 100 career wins at App State.

Dada-Mascoll added to her win total with a straight-set victory, defeating her opponent 6-1, 6-3. Wins from the undefeated Romanichen, Naledi Manyube, and Alexi Cleveland helped push the Mountaineers past the four-point mark, securing App State's third straight win and their fourth match this season with five or more points.

On the Mountaineers
Dada-Mascoll is currently 6-0 in singles this season, with all wins coming from the No. 1 spot. Romanichen is 5-0 in singles, playing from the No. 2 spot, including a win over Furman's SoCon Player of the Week, Sara Snyder.

Manyube is off to a strong start this season, boasting a 5-1 record in singles and a perfect 5-0 mark in doubles. The pairings of Manyube/Broadbent and Manyube/Olwyn Ryan-Bovey are App State's only undefeated doubles teams, with the duos from the No. 3 and No. 2 spots, respectively.

The Mountaineers are coming off an impressive fall campaign. Dada-Mascoll and Romanichen had a standout season, winning the ITA Conference Masters Championships and qualifying for the NCAA Doubles Championships—both firsts in program history. The duo earned a national ranking of No. 23, the highest a doubles pair has been ranked in App State history.

Dada-Mascoll also qualified for the prestigious ITA All-American Championships, where only the nation's top 128 players compete, showcasing some of the best talent in the country.

Last season, App State reached the Sun Belt Championship match for the first time in program history under head coach Hannah Fetters. The Mountaineers finished the season tying a program record with 15 wins and a 6-5 mark in Sun Belt Conference play, finishing seventh in the standings.

This season, App State returns five players from last year's team, including Dada-Mascoll. As a sophomore, the Yorkshire, England native went 21-2 in singles and won 15 doubles matches while posting a 6-3 record against Sun Belt opponents.
