Banks Tolley has been named the Sun Belt Player of the Week, the conference announced Tuesday.
Tolley belted three home runs in the Mountaineers' series win over Marshall, totaling six hits, six RBIs and five runs scored across the three-game set.
The Ole Miss transfer has now hit safely in six straight games, going 11-for-28 (.393) with four home runs and 13 RBIs over that span, helping App State to back-to-back series wins. The senior now ranks tied for second in the Sun Belt in home runs (11), third in slugging (.724), third in OPS (1.185), sixth in RBIs (33) and tied for eighth in runs scored (31).
