On the Mountaineers
On Wednesday, Dada-Mascoll was named Sun Belt Conference Player of the Week for the second time this season and the third time in her young career. The Yorkshire, England, native has won eight consecutive matches following her win over JMU's No.1 singles player Daria Munteanu 6-3, 6-0, to reclaim the weekly award.
Powell has won three straight matches after her 3-6, 6-3, 6-2, win over the Dukes' Cate Broerman on court two. She has won her last three matches and has posted a 5-2 singles record as the primary No. 2 for App State.
On the Panthers
Georgia State comes into Saturday's match losing three out of their last five matches, including their conference opener on the road against Coastal Carolina. Andreea Stanescu and Sara Radojevic currently have the most wins on the team in singles. Both players have secured five wins.
On the Trojans
Troy has lost three of its last five matches coming into the weekend. The Trojans will make a stop in Huntington, W. Va. to face off with Marshall on Friday before coming to the High Country for their matchup with App State on Sunday.
Next up
The Mountaineers will face ULM and Arkansas State on the road following their two home matches. They will face the Warhawks on March 23 and then the Red Wolves on March 24. App State will return to the High Country to close out the month of March as they are set to host Louisiana on March 29, and Texas State on March 30.
