BOONE, NC – App State field hockey is set to host its final exhibition before the new season Sunday. The Mountaineers will host Davidson at noon at Brandon & Erica M. Adcock Field.
Fans can get their first look at the new squad at home. The team features eight newcomers and nine returning starters.
App State visited Chapel Hill for its first exhibition last Sunday against North Carolina.
After Sunday's preseason conclusion, the Mountaineers will host nine opponents throughout the regular season, including a home-opening weekend next Friday and Sunday. The Black & Gold will host Towson on Aug. 26 and Georgetown on Aug. 28.
The Mountaineers and Wildcats will face off again at the end of the regular season at Davidson on Oct. 30.
All regular season home games will have live stats available for fans and will be streamed live on Twitch at twitch.tv/appstatesports.
