MANAHAWKIN, N.J. – Fourteen members of the App State field hockey team earned academic honors from the National Field Hockey Coaches Association (NFHCA), the organization announced Tuesday.

Samantha Connors,
Bridget Donovan,
Zoey Emrick,
Carlotta Fabian,
Hadley Kuzmicky,
Emma Livingston,
Sarah Perkins,
Baylie Phillips,
Darby Reyburn,
Kate Richardson,
Calista Schwartz and
Henriette Stegen were named to the National Academic Squad. To qualify, student-athletes must maintain a cumulative GPA of 3.5 or higher. Kuzmicky and Stegen earned the distinction in each of their four years at App State.
Five Mountaineers were also named Scholars of Distinction for achieving a GPA of 3.9 or higher: Bramble, Callery, Emrick, Perkins and Reyburn. Callery has received the honor in three of her four years, while Perkins was also named to the list in 2022 and 2024. This is also Reyburn's second consecutive year earning the honor.
Additionally, the App State Field Hockey program received the National Academic Team Award for maintaining a team GPA of 3.5 or higher. The Mountaineers have earned this recognition every year during head coach
Emily Dinsmore's tenure.
