CONWAY, S.C. -- App State women's tennis looks to build off of its 4-0 win against Texas State with a road match this Wednesday at 9 a.m., when they will visit Sun Belt opponent Coastal Carolina.
SCOUTING THE MOUNTAINEERS (3-9, 1-2 SBC)
- App State completed its second shutout win of the week against Texas State on Sunday, winning 4-0 at home.
- Helena Jansen has not lost a match in both singles and doubles play in the Mountaineers' last four outings.
- Jansen and Erika Dodridge lead the team in singles wins with 11 apiece.
- Dodridge also is tied on the team for doubles wins with seven, along with Ellie Murphy.
SCOUTING THE CHANTICLEERS (7-7, 2-2 SBC)
- Coastal Carolina was defeated by UT Arlington 2-5 in its last match on Mar. 20.
- Victoire De Samucewicz played a role in both of the Chanticleers' points, winning 6-2, 6-1 at the No. 1 singles position and 6-4 at the No. 1 doubles court alongside Jesse Hollins.
- De Samucewicz and Hollins lead the team in singles wins with eight apiece.
- Hollins also leads the team in doubles wins with a record of 9-3.
