BOONE, N.C. -- After a three week hiatus, App State women's tennis will return to action on Saturday, traveling to take on East Carolina at noon.
SCOUTING THE MOUNTAINEERS
- App State has seen its last two contests postponed due to weather.
- The Mountaineers last played on Jan. 15, falling at No. 3 North Carolina.
- App State played in four tournaments during the fall season, all of which were unscored.
- In singles action, Helena Jansen paced App State with six wins, with Erika Dodridge right behind five victories.
- At the ITA Division I Carolina Women's Championships, Dodridge posted a pair of wins to advance the quarterfinals of the consolation bracket. Jansen also posted a singles victory at the tournament.
- In total, the Mountaineers posted 16 singles wins in the fall season as a team.
- App State added a midweek match at Radford on Wednesday at 2 p.m.
SCOUTING THE PIRATES
- East Carolina (0-1) has had a lengthy break after weather forced the Pirates to postpone a scheduled trip to Richmond, Va., for matches against VCU and Temple.
- ECU has played one match this spring, falling to No. 3 North Carolina 7-0 on Jan. 18.
- In singles action, Ines Bachir, Alisha Hussain and Martina Muzzolon all are tied for the team lead with four victories.
- In doubles play, Anne Lou Champion and Bachir have paired up for a team-best four doubles wins this season.

The Mountaineers travel to take on Radford on Wednesday at 2 p.m. App State the returns to the High Country on Feb. 12 to host Davidson at noon in its home opener.
