The Mountaineers split last weekend with a thrilling 4-3 win over Troy on Saturday before falling to the top team in the Sun Belt in South Alabama on Sunday, 4-1. María José Zacarias finished 2-0 in doubles with Ksenia Aleshina while going 1-0 in singles. Sandra Anglesjö provided the match-clinching win on Saturday against the Trojans with the score tied, 3-3.
A Win Would

Sun Belt Update
App State is currently in seventh in the Sun Belt standings going into the match tomorrow. Aleshina/Zacarias are among the top No. 1 duos in the league with eight overall victories, and their six league wins are tied for first. Helena Jansen/Anglesjö are first with six conference wins among No. 2 doubles.
Scouting Coastal Carolina
Coastal Carolina is coming off a 4-0 win over Troy on Sunday while sitting in third in the league standings. Jesse Hollins leads the team with a 10-3 record and is one of five players with at least seven singles victories. CCU has been strong in singles play with a 47-26 mark this season. In doubles, Somer Dalla-Bona/Jessie Mount and Kristyna Jurkova/V. De Samucewicz are both 7-2 to lead the Chanticleers. CCU is 26-16 in doubles this season.
