BOONE, N.C. -- App State volleyball will conclude the regular season with a pair of matches against Coastal Carolina. The two teams will meet in Boone on Thursday at 5 p.m. and in Conway on Sunday at 1 p.m. Both contests will be streamed on ESPN+.

THE SERIES
- This will be the 23rd and 24th all-time meeting between the two schools. Coastal Carolina holds a 16-6 edge in the series.
SCOUTING THE MOUNTAINEERS
- App State fell 3-1 to Georgia Southern at home on Sunday.
- On Sunday, McCall Denny and Sam Bickley each had double-doubles. Denny tallied 14 kills and 16 digs, while Bickley had 39 assists and 13 digs. Daryn Armstrong had a career-high 11 kills and Victoria Wilform added 10 kills. Emma Reilly also reached double figures in digs with 15.
- Wilform has reached double figures in kills in five consecutive contests and is averaging 13.0 kills per match and 3.42 kills per set during that span.
- Denny is averaging 3.19 kills per set, which ranks sixth in the Sun Belt. Reilly also sits sixth in the conference in digs per set, averaging 4.34. Reilly is one of six players in the conference to have over 400 digs this season, ranking fourth with 430.
SCOUTING THE CHANTICLEERS
- Coastal Carolina swept past Georgia State on Sunday to improve to 16-8 overall and 10-4 in conference play.
- Doris Carter hit. 385 with 14 kills, while Ani Bozdeva hit .500 and tallied 13 kills. Brigitta Petrenko dished out 22 assists to go along with nine digs, while Marija Borcic had 17 assists.
- As a team, the Chanticleers lead the conference in hitting percentage (.243), opponent kills per set (11.19) and blocks per set (2.57). In addition, Coastal Carolina sits second in service aces per set, averaging 1.68.
