BOONE, N.C. -- App State volleyball will host Sun Belt East Division leader Coastal Carolina in its final two home matches of the 2020 season. Friday's contest is set for 6 p.m. on ESPN+ and Saturday's is scheduled for 1 p.m. on ESPN+.
SPECTATORS
Due to state of North Carolina guidelines, spectators at each match this weekend will be limited to 25 people and will consist of families of players only.Â
THE SERIES
- Coastal Carolina leads the all-time series 11-6.

SCOUTING THE MOUNTAINEERS
- App State will honor its four seniors in Grace Morrison, Lexi Kohut, Emma Reilly and Kara Spicer prior to the start of Friday's contest.
- The Mountaineers stand at 1-5 on the season and 1-5 in Sun Belt play.
- App State posted a 1-2 mark last weekend against Georgia State. App State's 3-1 win on Friday was the 200th for head coach Matt Ginipro at the helm of the Mountaineers. In the win, Kohut tallied 19 kills and nine digs. Spicer added nine kills and Morrison chipped in with eight. Reilly tallied 27 digs and Sam Bickley had 39 assists and nine digs.
- On the season, Kohut has a team-high 72 kills (3.79 k/s), while Spicer is hitting a team-high .237. Reilly has 91 total digs (4.14 d/s), with Kohut sitting second with 38 (2.00 d/s).
SCOUTING THE CHANTICLEERS
- Coastal Carolina is a perfect 9-0 on the season, with a 9-0 mark in Sun Belt play.
- Anett Nemeth leads the team with 120 total kills (3.75 k/s), with Ani Bozdeva sitting second with 91 (2.84 k/s).
- Brigitta Petrenko is averaging a league leading 0.62 service aces per set. On defense, Lina Perugini leads the team with 141 total digs (4.41 d/s).
- As a team, Coastal Carolina is limiting teams to a .120 hitting percentage on the season, which leads the conference. In addition, the Chanticleers are hitting .240 on the season, which ranks second in the Sun Belt.
