BOONE, N.C. - App State men's tennis opens up the fall slate at the College of Charleston Invitational.
Appalachian is one of four teams with College of Charleston, Coastal Carolina, and Wofford to take place in the event, which will be in a hidden dual format.
App State will play all three opponents on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday with eight singles matches and four doubles contests.
The Apps will start the tournament against CofC tomorrow before facing CCU on Saturday. The Black and Gold will conclude the tournament against Wofford on Sunday.
App returns five student-athletes from last season in
Milo Bargeron,
Blake Carter,
Zion Heaven,
Alex Pavkovich and
Campbell Stone.
Head coach
Craig Schwartz brought in five talented newcomers in
Alessio Azzalini (Italy),
Landon Church (North Carolina),
Aleksander Petrovic (Toronto, Ontario, Canada/Samford),
Matvey Radionov (Israel/Nevada) and
Karan Srivastava (India).
