Biography

Spring season was cut short due to the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic.

2020-21
Singles: Fall:
 Went 5-2 in the fall with five of his six singles victories coming in tournaments ... defeated a pair of ACC opponents against Virginia Tech's Chase Bernstine at the River City Tennis Open (10/11) in the semis and Clemson's Jaxon Wiley at the ITA Regionals (10/18) ... won three out of four contests 
for his best stretch of the season ... Spring: His lone victory came against Mikael Rodriguez of Campbell in straight sets. 

Doubles: Fall: Finished second on the team with eight wins overall, five of which came in the fall ... five wins came with Milo Bargeron ... tallied back-to-back wins at the River City Tennis Open (10/11) against William & Mary's Sebastian Quiros/Oren Vasser and VCU's Daniel Khin/Timo Zgraggen ... Spring: Won
three straight contests against Presbyterian (2/20), UNC Asheville (2/22) and UNCG (2/28)

2019-20
Singles: Fall:
Won a pair of matches at the Southern Intercollegiate and Davidson Invite against Lipscomb and Queens, respectively ... Spring: notched three wins for the Black and Gold in his junior season. 

Doubles: Spring: Posted four wins with all four victories coming with Milo Bargeron ... three of his wins with Bargeron came at the top spot ... won three straight matches against Stetson (3/3), Hampton and St. John's (Minn.) ... 
came away with a doubles-clinching point following a defeated Arthur Libaud and Pearse Dolan of Louisiana (3/29) in a thrilling 4-3 victory. 

2018-19
Singles – Fall: Participated in three contests at the UNC Wilmington Fall Tournament … Spring: Got off to a hot start to the spring season, winning his first five matches en route to a 6-1 opening in singles … Appalachian was 8-1 when Pavkovich won a singles match…finished the season with a career-best nine wins, which was tied for third on the team with Milo Bargeron…won his lone match in the No. 3 spot…went 2-0 in the No. 5 spot for the Mountaineers.

Doubles – Fall:
Partnered with Milo Bargeron to win the first match of the season (6-3) at the UNC Wilmington Fall Tournament over the Seahawks…played in three matches in the fall…Spring: Had a phenomenal season in doubles, tying for the team lead with 15 victories…partnered with freshman Ben Webster for 21 of his 22 matches, compiling a 15-6 record…closed the season with an 8-2 record in his last 10 doubles matches…helped secure the doubles point in an upset over No. 2 seed Louisiana in the Sun Belt Tournament…increased his number of doubles victories from eight in 2017 to a personal-high 15 victories in the spring.

2017-18
Singles – Fall: Posted a pair of wins in his first fall slate in the Seahawk Invitational and 49ers Fall Invitational, advancing to the Round of 16 in Charlotte … Spring: Chipped in with six wins, contributing to the Mountaineers' first back-to-back winning seasons since 2011-12 … half of his wins went to three sets … came back from a one-set deficit to force a three-set win in the deciding victory against UNC Greensboro (3/31) ...  put together back-to-back wins on two separate occasions... contributed to Appalachian winning the inaugural Mountaineer Cup, showcasing the core values at App State ... helped the Mountaineers finish with back-to-back winning seasons for the first time since 2011-12

Doubles – Fall: Notched two wins in the Seahawk Invitational, making it to the semifinals with Trey Morris … Spring: Finished 8-8 overall while going 6-6 with Alex Brea … went on a pair of 3-1 stretches. 

Prior to App State: Played his high school tennis at Mansfield State High School in Brisbane, Queensland ... represented the Queensland team in the Australian championships ... recorded an international rank in the top 600 in the 18-U league ... had a career-best rank in the top 200 in the Australian League for all ages.

Personal: Son of Peter Pavlich and Jasna Pavkovich Pavlich ... has two siblings, Nick Pavlich and Annamaria Pavkovich Pavlich .... will major in exercise science at App State .. intends to find a job back home in Australia after graduation.
