Spring season was cut short due to the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic.

2020-21
Singles: Fall:
Three of his four wins came in the fall campaign ...  won his three matches at the River City Tennis Open (10/11) ... defeated opponents from Liberty, College of Charleston and Old Dominion ... Spring: His lone victory came against Chattanooga's (1/19) Luke Plaisted in three sets. 

Doubles: Fall: Had a solid fall with a 5-1 mark ... the five wins were tied for third ... earned three victories at the River City Tennis Open, highlighted by a 6-1 triumph over Virginia's Dockter, Jefferson/Romualdez, Jerome ... four of his wins were with Alessio Azzalini and two with Aleksandar Petrovic... also picked up victories against Old Dominion, East Carolina, Navy and James Madison ... Spring: Won a match with Azzalini in the opening weekend against Tennessee State (1/18).

2019-20
Singles: Fall: Totaled a personal-high six fall wins, highlighted by a four-match win streak and three wins at the Elon Men's Invitational ... advanced to the Powell Singles Flight title at the Elon ... Spring: Picked up two wins against Hampton (3/5) and Louisiana (3/29) ... Stone picked up the match-clinching triumph in the 4-3 thriller against the Ragin' Cajuns in a tight-knit straight-set victory, topping Pierce Gilheany.  

Doubles: Spring: Won a career-high and tied for second with seven doubles wins ... went 7-7 with fellow senior, Alex Brea ... notched five wins over six matches with Brea ... won three straight matches against Norfolk State (3/7), Valparaiso (3/7) and Saint John's (Minn.)

2018-19
Singles – Fall: Saw action in three matches, clinching a victory in three sets over his opponent from Longwood at the UNC Wilmington Fall Tournament…Spring: Got off to a fast start, opening the season with a 4-1 record…played a key role in Appalachian’s win over Davidson, quickly dispatching his opponent in straight sets…finished the season with six victories, which was tied for fifth on the team.

Doubles – Fall: Participated  in one match at the UNC Wilmington Fall Tournament…Spring: Won three doubles matches, including starting the season 2-1…won a match when paired with Alex Brea at the Sun Belt Tournament over South Alabama…was primarily slated in the No. 3 spot.

2017-18
Singles – Fall: Played in eight matches while picking up four victories, including a three-match win streak to star the slate … advanced to the 49ers Fall Invite Round of 16 before falling to a formidable opponent in Clemson's Arturo Pinazo … Spring: Saw action in three matches.

Doubles: Fall: Garnered a 2-1 mark with Alex Free during the fall … Spring: came away with a win with Milo Bargeron against Lees-McRae (1/29).

High School: Attended Needham B. Broughton High School in North Carolina where he played under Bill White, Berry Mann, Chris Poole and Shelby Cannon.

Personal: Son of Craig & Stephanie Stone ... Born on August 8, 1996 ...Has three siblings, James, Taylor and Slade ...  Hobbies include mountain biking and skiing ... Dad won a NAIA National Championship at Elon in tennis while playing for three years ... Is part of the PIKE Fraternity.
