Biography

Spring season was cut short due to the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic.

2020-21
Singles: Fall:
 Competed in only one match during the fall ... Spring: Won four matches in the spring, finishing with a 4-4 mark ... went on a 4-1 stretch including a three-match win streak ... tallied his first Power Five win over Virginia Tech's Ryan Kros in straight sets ... three of his four victories were in three frames.

Doubles: Fall: Won his only doubles contest with Karan Srivastava over College of Charleston's Borges, Noah/Wang, Johnny (6-4) ... Spring: Four of his victories came in the spring, two victories with Milo Bargeron and another two with Aleksandar Petrovic ... also notched his first Power Five victory with Petrovic over Kros and Mattis Ross of Virginia Tech by a score of 6-3.

2019-20
Singles: Fall:
Won his first collegiate fall contest against Ted Williams of Campbell at the Elon Men's Invitational ... put together four victories including back-to-back triumphs against Davidson and Queens at the Davidson Invite ... Spring: Finished second on the team in singles wins with six ... notched three wins at the No. 3 and 4 positions ... led the team with a pair of Sun Belt victories against Troy (3/24) and a thrilling three-set win in a 4-3 victory over Louisiana (3/29) ... earned his first collegiate spring victory against Charles Hudson of Hampton (3/5) ... five of his six victories were in straight sets ... went on a 6-3 tear for his best stretch of the season. 

Doubles: Spring: Was third on the team with six doubles victories ... collected his first doubles win with Afonso Viana over Sergi Fontcuberta/David Gonzalez of ETSU (1/19) ... put forth back-to-back winning efforts against Norfolk State and Southern Miss' Chung Han Tsai/Mieszko Kwasniewski (3/15) ... also picked up a win as the No. 1 tandem against Davidson's top duo of Matthew Rose/Yash Parikh (4/14). 

High School: Is the first signing of the Craig Schwartz era ... played his tennis at Florida Virtual High School ... was ranked 175th nationally with a Universal Tennis Rating of 12 ... advanced to the finals in the DT-USTA Summer Junior Section title match after capturing four contests. 

Personal: Born on Oct. 18, 2000 ...  son of Will and Shannon Heaven ... hobbies include traveling and hiking ... will major in business.
