CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. --
Izzy Evely placed 65th in a field of over 250 runners as Appalachian State women's cross country finished 17th at the NCAA Southeast Regionals on Friday.
The Mountaineers finished with 479 points. N.C. State finished first with 48 points, Furman was second with 83 points and Virginia Tech was third with 116 points.
Evely navigated the 6K course in a PR time of 21:40.2. Her mark now ranks as the 10th fastest 6K time in program history.
Kylee Frady also posted a top-100 finish, crossing 85th overall with a time of 21:59.9.
Lila Peters placed 109th in a PR time of 22:18.8 and
Sarah Venable was right behind in 112th in a 6K PR time of 22:22.1.
Sarah Sandreuter crossed 128th in a PR time of 22:31.6,
Natalie Richardson finished 154th with a PR mark of 22:54.2 and
Madi Provo placed 216th in 23:54.5.
