BOONE, N.C. – Appalachian State volleyball (7-13) will travel to Conway, S.C. and return to Boone, N.C. this weekend for two matches against Coastal Carolina (8-7) on Friday, Oct. 13 and Sunday, Oct. 15.
The Mountaineers most recently took down the Georgia Southern Eagles at home in four sets. Looking for another conference win, App State faces the Chanticleers of Coastal Carolina this weekend in Conway, S.C. on Friday at 6:30 p.m. and Sunday in Boone, N.C. at 12:30 p.m.
App State is 4-7 overall in series history with Coastal Carolina.

Ashlyn Brown have also both been awarded Sun Belt weekly honors this season as two-time Freshman of the Week and Setter of the Week respectively.

Olivia Loeffler keeps the ball off the floor with 324 digs this season thus far.

Scouting Coastal Carolina
The Chanticleers are 5-1 in Sun Belt play, ranking second in the East Division for the conference. In their past two matches, they defeated Georgia Southern and Georgia State at home. Leah Hardeman leads the team with 248 kills on the season. Sara Boothe, the leading setter, has 349 assists. Another player to watch at the net includes Larissa Dos Santos with 50 total blocks.
