BOONE, N.C. – Mountaineer Talk, App State's weekly coaches show via the App State Sports Network from Playfly, will shift its focus to basketball starting Monday, Jan. 5.
The show, presented by UNC Health Blue Ridge, will air LIVE at Rivers Street Ale House in Boone on Monday evenings. New this season, Mountaineer Talk shows will air from 6-7 p.m. Rivers Street Ale House is located at 957 Rivers St, Boone, N.C. 28607, just down the road from the heart of campus.
Matt Present will serve as host of the show each week. He will be joined by men's basketball head coach
Dustin Kerns, women's basketball head coach
Alaura Sharp and a student-athlete from each program.
Mountaineer Talk can be heard on flagship station WKBC 97.3 (North Wilkesboro, Charlotte, Hickory, High Country) and on WSJS 600 AM/ 93.7 FM, 101.5 FM, 103.1 FM, 104.9 FM (Winston-Salem/Greensboro), while also being live-streamed on the
App State Athletics Facebook page. Online audio options can also be found at
appstatesports.com or through the App State Athletics app with no subscription required.
