Wrestling Single-Match Tickets On Sale Now

BOONE, N.C. — App State Wrestling has begun its 2025-26 season, and single-match tickets for home events in Varsity Gym are now available for purchase as an additional option to season tickets.

App State has seven home dates in Boone, starting with the Mountaineer Open on Sunday, Nov. 23 and being followed a week later by a Nov. 30 dual against No. 7 NC State, a day after the final home football game of 2025 for weekend visitors to the High Country. The other tournament in Varsity Gym is the Appalachian Open on Jan. 24.

The Mountaineers host SoCon duals against VMI (Jan. 15), Bellarmine (Feb. 1), The Citadel (Feb. 8) and Gardner-Webb (Feb. 22) after the calendar flips to 2026.

In advance of match day, single-match tickets for the four SoCon duals and two tournaments are $10 for general admission bleachers, $15 for a general admission seat within the Premium Black section and $20 for a reserved seat within the Premium Gold section.

The visit from seventh-ranked NC State will be a Varsity Plus match, with tickets at $25 for general admission bleachers, $30 for a general admission seat within the Premium Black section and $35 for a reserved seat within the Premium Gold section.

All tickets purchased on match day carry an additional $5 cost, so purchase tickets in advance.

Season tickets are the best value when multiple trips to Varsity Gym are planned, and being a season ticket holder who supports the Mountaineers also enhances the ability to purchase NCAA Championships tickets through App State.

General admission season tickets in the bleachers are available for $70. For faculty/staff, the discounted price is $60.

The Premium section, with endline seating introduced last season, faces the competition mat and Varsity Gym scoreboard. A season ticket in the Premium Gold section — which has a reserved seat that includes a seatback, a cupholder and more leg room than a traditional bleacher seat — costs $100. A season ticket in the Premium Black section, which is a general admission seat (that also has a seatback) within the Premium area, outside of the Premium Gold seats, costs $85.

Home duals again will be streamed live on FloWrestling, which has a subscription model.

The 2025-26 season is presented by Hungry Howie's and Penn Station.
