Women's Golf Opens Fall Schedule Monday at Clemson

CLEMSON, S.C. — Four days after Chan Metts was introduced as head coach, App State Women's Golf will open its 2024 fall schedule Monday at the Tiger Classic hosted by Clemson.
 
The one-day, 36-hole event at the John E. Walker Golf Course on Clemson's campus will feature 16 teams and begin with an 8:30 a.m. shotgun start.
 
Layla Meric, Jacquelyn Taylor, Makena Dubois, Ona Lukes and Mary-Sears Brown will make up the Mountaineers' five-player lineup, while Salem Lee will compete as an individual.
 
In addition to Clemson and App State, the other teams in the field are Campbell, Gardner-Webb, Georgia Southern, Jacksonville State, Jacksonville University, Mercer, North Alabama, Presbyterian, Troy, UNC-Asheville, Charlotte, UNCG, USC Upstate and Western Carolina.
