HILTON HEAD ISLAND, S.C. — App State Women's Golf posted another strong showing, placing second in a 15-team field Tuesday at the Low Country Intercollegiate.
Ona Lukes tied for fourth place as one of three Mountaineers to post a top-15 result, carding an 8-over total (77-73-74—224) on the par-72 layout.
Zoe Duval finished 14th at 12 over (77-77-74—228), and
Alisa Pressley tied for 15th at 14 over (82-73-75—230).
The Mountaineers moved ahead of Richmond in the final round and beat the third-place Spiders by three strokes, with UNCG finishing another shot back in fourth. App State recorded a 55-over total as a team (314-301-304— 919) and finished 18 shots behind team champion UNC Asheville, which had the individual medalist in Caroline Patterson, whose 1-over total gave her a five-shot victory.
Salem Lee tied for 34th at 22 over (79-78-81—238), and
Maria Pinedo tied for 61st at 32 over (81-85-82—248).
The 2025-26 season is presented by Hound Ears Club.
