ROME, Ga. - App State Tennis players
Savannah Dada-Mascoll and
Isabela Romanichen have qualified for the NCAA Doubles Championships after defeating Sacramento State in the ITA Conference Masters Championships.

This is the first time in program history the Mountaineers have qualified for an NCAA tournament in doubles.

Dada-Mascoll and Romanichen began play last Thursday, defeating Delaware followed by wins last Friday against Charleston Southern and Boise State. The Mountaineers had multiple paths to qualification, giving them two chances to win one game to move on to the NCAA Doubles Championships.

App State moves on to the finals of the ITA Conference Masters Championships, where they will face opponents from either Vanderbilt or Xavier. Start time is to be decided.

The NCAA Doubles Championships will be hosted at Baylor University, starting on Nov. 19, lasting until Nov. 24.
