LYNCHBURG, Va. The App State women's track and field team closed out competition at the Brant Tolsma Invitational on Saturday. Saturday's action was highlighted by a meet record  in the women's triple jump from graduate student Ashlee Osaji. The Mountaineers also tallied 28 top-10 finishes on the weekend.

"We're excited to get back on a fast track," said head coach Damion McLean. "Despite not being able to practice for two days due to the weather, each person competed well."
