SPARTANBURG, S.C. – App State Men's Golf opens an eventful April with an appearance at the Wofford Invitational, which will be played Monday and Tuesday at the Country Club of Spartanburg.
App State will be one of 17 teams competing on the par-71, 6,703-yard layout. The Mountaineers and host Wofford (with 'A' and 'B" teams) will be joined by Queens, South Florida, USC Aiken, Winthrop, Western Carolina, USC Upstate, Chattanooga, Radford, Francis Marion, Gardner-Webb, Presbyterian, Samford, Charleston Southern and Miami (Ohio).

Addison Beam, Lukas Jönsson,
Josh Buxbaum and
Sverrir Haraldsson are scheduled to make up the Mountaineers' five-man lineup, with a 9 a.m. start time Monday. Jönsson returns to the lineup after being sidelined during the Seahawk Intercollegiate.
The Wofford Invitational is the first of four April tournaments to close the Mountaineers' spring schedule.
