SCOUTING THE MOUNTAINEERS (5-14, 3-6 SBC)
App State fell 5-0 in its last match at Charleston Southern.
Helena Jansen leads the team in singles action with a record of 14-7, followed by Erika Dodridge at 12-8.
Both Jansen and Dodridge have won five straight singles matches.
Ellie Murphy leads the squad in doubles wins with nine, followed by Dodridge and Jansen with eight.
SCOUTING THE EAGLES (11-9, 3-5 SBC)
Georgia Southern dropped its last match 4-3 to Arkansas State.
The Eagles have defeated ULM, Louisiana and Texas State in Sun Belt play.
Paula Hijos leads the team in singles wins with 13, followed by Silvia Martinez with 12. Martinez has won six singles matches in a row.
Hannah Daniel leads the Eagles in doubles wins with 12, followed by Sophie Wagemaker with 11.
UP NEXT
The Mountaineers will prepare to compete in the Sun Belt Championship. Play will begin on Apr. 21 and will go through Apr. 24 in Peachtree, Ga.
