BOONE, N.C. – App State Athletics is auctioning 14 game-worn helmets, one from each football game in the 2021 season. The auction begins Monday, March 21 at noon and runs for a minimum of two weeks with the first auction ending on April 4 and subsequent auctions ending daily through April 11.
The following 14 different helmets will be available:
- Black helmet without a stripe, worn in the Duke's Mayo Classic
- Black helmet without a stripe and 9/11 memorial sticker, worn at Miami
- Black helmet with a stripe (Jerry Moore tribute), worn against Elon
- Black helmet without a stripe, worn against Marshall
- White helmet with a stripe, worn at Georgia State
- Gold helmet, worn at Louisiana
- Breast Cancer Awareness helmet, Worn against Coastal Carolina
- Black helmet without a stripe, worn against ULM
- White helmet with a stripe, worn at Arkansas State
- Heroes' Day helmet, worn against South Alabama
- Black helmet without a stripe, worn at Troy
- Black helmet without a stripe, worn against Georgia Southern
- Black helmet without a stripe, worn in the Sun Belt Championship game
- Black helmet without a stripe, worn in the Roofclaim.com Boca Raton Bowl
Each helmet will start with a minimum bid of $400, with a $50 minimum bid increase. Shipping and pickup options are available.
