PHILADELPHIA — App State Wrestling resumes its schedule Sunday with 18 wrestlers scheduled to compete in the Palestra at the Keystone Classic.
Wrestlers from App State, Penn, Drexel, Arizona State, George Mason, Duke, Rider, Franklin & Marshall, Virginia Tech, Sacred Heart and Harvard are in the field. Arizona State (No. 5), Virginia Tech (No. 11), Penn (No. 20) and App State (No. 28) are all in the top 30 of team voting for the most recent NWCA Coaches Poll.
The programs participating have a combined 28 ranked wrestlers, including four top-15 wrestlers at 149 pounds: App State's
Jon Jon Millner (No. 3), Arizona State's Kyle Parco (No. 3), Virginia Tech freshman Caleb Henson (No. 9 following a win over Sammy Sasso) and Penn's Doug Zapf (No. 15).
Wrestling begins Sunday at 9:30 a.m., with finals scheduled for 6:30 p.m.
