BOONE, N.C. — After moving to the top of the Sun Belt's East Division thanks to a series win against Georgia State, App State (13-14) hosts Wake Forest (10-15) in Boone.

App State's second home midweek game comes after three straight midweek games outside of Boone (at NC State on April 6, at Wake Forest on March 30 and vs. Charlotte in Kannapolis on March 23). Two weeks ago, in Winston-Salem,
Kendall McGowan hit a three-run homer and was 3-for-5 with four RBIs in the Demon Deacons' 15-7 victory.
Tuesday's probable starter is on the mound is right-hander
Trey Tujetsch, who made a Sunday start at East Carolina on March 7. His last appearance was at Wake Forest, where he had three strikeouts in a scoreless fifth inning and struck out five batters over three innings.
Wake Forest's probable starter, Reed Mascolo, started the first meeting between the teams earlier this season.
