BOONE, N.C. - App State women's tennis hits the road to face Coastal Carolina on Saturday at 1 p.m. in Conway, S.C. at the Stevens Tennis Complex.

Last Time Out
A shorthanded Mountaineers team fell to South Alabama in a 6-1 setback. The Jaguars started the match with a win already in doubles play and a win in singles. Helena Jansen and Sandra Anglesjö highlighted the day with a doubles win while Jansen won her fifth straight contest in singles. Jansen is 6-3 in singles, and her/Anglesjö are 3-2 in doubles. 

A Win Would
- Improve the Apps' record to 4-7 and 3-2 in Sun Belt play.
- Give the Mountaineers their first road win. 
- Hand Coastal Carolina its first home loss of the season.
- Give the Chanticleers their second conference setback of the season. 

Scouting Coastal Carolina
The Chanticleers are 7-3 after a 4-0 win over Troy on March 14. CCU boasts six student-athletes with at least four victories. Jesse Hollins leads the team with eight wins, while SomerDalla-Bona is 6-2 overall and 5-1 at the top spot. Coastal Carolina is 32-17 overall in singles play. De Samucewicz, V./Jurkova, Kristyna leads doubles competition with a 5-2 record. They are one of three tandems with at least four victories, with CCU owning a 15-11 mark in doubles.

App State continues its road trip next weekend when it faces Georgia Southern in Statesboro at 10 a.m.
