ORLANDO, Fla. - App State men's tennis fell to James Madison, 4-0, on Thursday afternoon on the campus of the USTA.
App State falls to 3-11 and James Madison moves to 8-5.
The Dukes claimed the doubles point and the three necessary matches needed to finish. The contest was played clinch-clinch in both singles and doubles.
Three of the unfinished matches were about to go to a third set with Milo Bargeron and Blake Carter coming back from a first-set loss. Matvey Radionov won his first frame, but Stefan Petrovic forced a third-set tiebreaker.
Also, Alex Pavkovich fell in his match with the contest going three sets, winning the first set and falling in the last two.
