BOONE, N.C. -- App State women's cross country will host the Blue Ridge Open on Friday afternoon at the Don Kennedy Trails at State Farm Fields. The meet, which is the final one for the Mountaineers before the Sun Belt Championships, is set for a 4 p.m. start.

- App State finished seventh on Oct. 8 at the Live at Lou Cross Country Classic
- Lisha Van Onselen led the Mountaineers across the finish line with a 35th place finish in 18:00.1. At the 2K checkpoint, Van Onselen sat 41st overall. In the final 3K, she rose six spots to finish 35th overallÂ
- Izzy Evely crossed 41st and Sarah Sandreuter was 42nd in 18:10.1 and 18:12.9, respectively. Faith Younts rose nine spots during the final 3K to finish 49th in 18:26.3.
- Lila Peters placed 52nd (18:34.6) and Madison Christy crossed 61st overall (19:04.1).
