BOONE, N.C. — Riding a five-match winning streak, App State (5-2) faces Duke on Thursday in its third dual against an in-state ACC program this season.

The Mountaineers are unofficially No. 28 in this week's NWCA Coaches Poll based on their high placement in the others receiving votes category. They won 29-10 last week against a Lock Haven team that was receiving Top 25 votes.
After winning 21-17 last year in Durham, App State is seeking its fourth victory against Duke in the last five meetings, and the Mountaineers will be attempting to beat a Power Five-level program for the seventh time since the start of the 2015-16 season.
Led this year by 24th-ranked Mason Eaglin (174) and Wade Unger (149), the Blue Devils have a new-look roster, as their four wins in last year's dual against App State came from two sets of Finesilver twins. The oldest brothers were seniors in 2018-19, Josh Finesilver is redshirting this year and Matt Finesilver is Olympic redshirting.
For App State, redshirt junior
