BOONE, N.C. — App State Wrestling student-athlete
Anthony Conetta earned Academic All-District honors in the at-large category from the College Sports Communicators (CSC), the organization announced this week.
All-District teams recognize the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the field and in the classroom. To qualify, a student-athlete must be a key contributor who earns at least a 3.50 cumulative grade point average (on a 4.0 scale) and is at least a sophomore both academically and athletically.
Conetta was named an NWCA Scholar All-American earlier this year. The health and physical education (K-12) major also received the SoCon's Pinnacle Award as the student-athlete with the highest GPA on the championship-winning team.
