BOONE, N.C. — App State Wrestling standouts

Anthony Conetta and
Tomas Brooker have earned Academic All-SoCon recognition for the 2025-26 season.
Members of the Southern Conference Academic Honor Roll will be announced next month. The classroom success of the title-sweeping Mountaineers contributed to a team GPA of 3.46 for the spring semester — a number that led men's programs at App State — and a cumulative team GPA of 3.25.
To be eligible for Academic All-SoCon recognition, student-athletes had to carry at least a 3.3 cumulative GPA at the conclusion of the spring semester and meet participation thresholds during the 2025-26 season. Additionally, the student-athletes must have successfully completed at least three semesters at their institutions, making true freshmen and first-year transfers ineligible for inclusion.
Earlier this month, Conetta received Academic All-District honors in the at-large category from the College Sports Communicators (CSC). Conetta and Brooker were both named NWCA Scholar All-Americans earlier this year.
