BOONE, N.C. - Appalachian State University men's tennis (1-5) looks to snap a four-match skid this weekend when it travels to Greenville, S.C. on Saturday to face Furman (6-3) at 1 p.m. The Mountaineers will close the weekend on Sunday at UNC Asheville (7-0) at 1 p.m.

App State fell to a pair of tough opponents in Richmond and ECU in its last outing. The Mountaineers were highlighted by 
Milo Bargeron, who won a doubles and singles match against the Spiders. Bargeron won his doubles contest with 
Alex Brea, while 
Bence Tamas collected his second win of the season in singles play. 
Leaders Update
App State is led by Bargeron and Tamas, who both have a pair of singles wins. Also nabbing wins thus far are 
Blake Carter, 
Alex Pavkovich and 
Afonso Viana. Brea/Bargeron has a team-high two victories as a tandem. The other duo that has a win is the freshman pairing of 
Zion Heaven and Viana. 
Scouting Furman
Furman is on a five-match win streak after a 6-1 win over Davidson. Seven of eight players have at least four singles wins with Jake Bhangdia and Drew Singerman each having seven wins and combining for a 14-2 mark. The Paladins are 37-17 in singles play so far. The duos of Ivan Mitric/Jake Munns and Clarke Wilson/Bhangdia are each 4-0, leading a doubles attack that is 16-10 this season. 
Scouting UNC Asheville 
The Bulldogs are 7-0 and will face North Carolina Central on Saturday at 1 p.m. before the Sunday matchup. UNCA defeated UNCG, 6-1, in its previous outing. Six players have four victories to pace singles play, while the Bulldogs are 32-10 overall. Oli Nolan and Henry Patten are 4-0 in doubles action to lead UNCA. The Bulldogs are solid in doubles play with a 14-3 mark. 
What's Next
App State will head down to Florida for its spring break trip, where it will play in six matches over the course of the trip. The Mountaineers will begin with Stetson on March 3 at 2 p.m. in Deland, Fla.
