Men's Tennis Continues Fall Slate at Davidson

BOONE, N.C. - Appalachian State University men's tennis continues the fall slate this weekend it travels to Davidson, N.C. for the Davidson Invite hosted by the Wildcats. 

Appalachian will play area schools including the hosts, USC Upstate and Queens. The format over the weekend will be made up of eight singles flights and four doubles flights.

The Mountaineers showed improvement in their previous tournament at the Elon Invitational last weekend, recording 14 wins total in singles and doubles play.

Campbell Stone had himself an exceptional weekend earning a trip to his singles flight championship with a pair of wins. Milo Bargeron and Will Hart both advanced to the consolation titles bracket in their respective singles flight, while Zion Heaven, Blake Carter and Ben Webster earned singles wins. Heaven and Bargeron teamed up for a victory in doubles and Bargeron/Pavkovich notched a pair of victories under their belt. 

App will have a two-week break for the ITA Regionals hosted by Duke in Cary, N.C.
