BOONE, N.C. – The App State women's tennis team is set to hit the road for its regular season finale, facing off against Louisiana on Saturday at 11 a.m. ET.

Last Time Out
The Mountaineers, currently 8-2 in Sun Belt Conference play, are coming off a dominant 4-0 sweep over Georgia State. After conceding court one in doubles,
Naledi Manyube and
Ruby Broadbent responded with a 6-3 win on court two.
Olwyn Ryan-Bovey and
Alexi Cleveland then clinched the doubles point with a clutch 6-4 victory on court three, giving App State an early 1-0 lead.

In singles,
Savannah Dada-Mascoll set the tone with a straight-set 6-3, 6-2 win at the No. 1 spot. Manyube followed suit with a 6-1, 6-3 victory on court two. Ryan-Bovey, playing her final home match, sealed the win with a 6-2, 6-4 triumph from the No. 3 position.

On the Mountaineers
App State has been strong across the board this season. Dada-Mascoll holds a 16-2 singles record—undefeated at No. 1 in conference play—and is currently on an eight-match win streak. She also has a 13-4 doubles mark and was recently named Sun Belt Women's Tennis Player of the Week.

Manyube has been a force at the No. 2 spot, boasting a 13-2 singles record and a 13-3 doubles record. She too has received Sun Belt Player of the Week honors this season, coming after an undefeated opening conference weekend.

Cleveland has had an impressive debut year, posting an 8-3 singles record, including 4-1 in Sun Belt action. She has added depth to the lineup, primarily playing in positions five and six.

Ryan-Bovey has been surging as the season winds down, with a 10-5 singles record and eight consecutive wins. She's also posted a 12-6 doubles record, and a 7-3 record from the No. 2 spot.

Scouting the Ragin' Cajuns
Louisiana enters the match at 9-9 overall and 2-7 in conference play, coming off a 4-0 loss to Troy. The team returned five players from last year's squad, which finished 8-12 and exited in the second round of the Sun Belt Championship.

Following Saturday's match, the Mountaineers will turn their attention to the Sun Belt Championships in Rome, Ga., which begin Wednesday and run through Sunday, April 27.
