BOONE, N.C. — For the third consecutive year, the App State tennis team garnered All-Academic Team honors from the Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA), while six players were named ITA Scholar-Athletes.
Ruby Broadbent, Alexi Cleveland, Riley Collins, Allegra Hodson, Taya Powell and Isabela Romanichen were named ITA Scholar-Athletes after meeting the 3.5 GPA minimum for the 2025–26 academic year.
As a team, the Mountaineers compiled a 3.6 GPA for the academic year, clearing the 3.2 GPA required to qualify for the team award.
During head coach Hannah Fetters' three-year tenure leading the Mountaineers, App State Tennis has earned the team award every year, along with a cumulative 18 ITA Scholar-Athlete honors.
In 2026, 1,501 Division I women's tennis student-athletes were named ITA Scholar-Athletes, and 231 programs earned All-Academic Team honors.
