BOONE, N.C. — App State Football's home game against Marshall on Saturday in Kidd Brewer Stadium is officially a sellout.
It will be Black Saturday and Heroes Day at The Rock, and there will also be an on-field recognition of the 2005 national championship team. With members of that historic squad reuniting this weekend in Boone, they will also be recognized Friday during the App State Men's Basketball home game against in-state foe Charlotte, and
tickets remain available for that 6:30 p.m. contest in the Holmes Center.
The Mountaineers consistently sell out Kidd Brewer Stadium and draw more than 30,000 fans to what's been ranked as a Top 25 stadium in all of college football by both ESPN and The Athletic. This is the 15th sellout in the last 16 App State home games. The top four single-season average home attendance marks in App State and Sun Belt Conference history have been those reached by Mountaineer fans at The Rock in 2021, 2022, 2023 and 2024.
In early June, App State Football
season tickets sold out for the fourth consecutive year. Those who are not season tickets holders can
