BOONE, N.C. — During the 2024 spring semester, a total of 202 student-athletes from App State were named to the Chancellor's List or Dean's List.
The 60 student-athletes on the Chancellor's List were full-time students with a GPA of 3.85 or higher during the 2024 spring semester, with inclusion determined solely by the performance in courses that earn credits toward graduation.
The 142 members of the Dean's List either posted a GPA of 3.45 or higher while carrying 12-14 academic hours during the 2024 spring semester or a GPA of 3.25 or higher while carrying at least 15 academic hours during the 2024 spring semester.
Every athletics team at App State was represented on the Dean's List , and 14 teams (counting App State Cheer) had at least one Chancellor's List member.
App State student-athletes extended their outstanding streak to 24 consecutive semesters with a cumulative GPA above 3.0 thanks to their academic performances during the 2024 spring. The Mountaineers ended the semester with a 3.20 semester GPA for all student-athletes, contributing to an identical 3.20 cumulative GPA for all student-athletes.
