EUGENE, Ore..– App State freshmen
Kendall Johnson and
Nicole Wells rounded out competition at the USATF U20 Championships in Eugene, Ore. on Thursday.

Damion McLean. "It's been a long season for both and now it's time to rest."
Wells posted a time of 24.52 in the women's 200-meter final to place ninth overall. She advanced to the final after clocking a time of 24.38 for an eighth-place finish in the first round. Johnson recorded a time of 24.53 to round out the top-10 in the first round.
On Wednesday, Johnson stopped the clock at 11.81 to place 13th overall in the women's 100-meter first round. Wells recorded a time of 12.01 to place 19th overall.
Johnson and Wells close out the outdoor season ranked sixth (11.61) and ninth (11.70), respectively, in the App State all-time list in the women's 100 meters category. Wells also closes out the season ranked ninth in the program all-time list in the women's 200 meters with a time of 24.09.
