NORTH MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. — App State Men's Golf will be the host school for the Surf Club Invitational played Monday and Tuesday at the Surf Golf and Beach Club.
 
There will be 18 full teams, including a second App State "B" squad, in a 109-player field on the par-71 layout.
 
The 54-hole schedule calls for 36 holes Monday, with a 9:15 a.m. shotgun start, followed by a final 18 holes on Tuesday with a 9:30 a.m. shotgun start.
 
App State's primary lineup will consist of 
Herman Huus, 
Addison Beam, 
Sverrir Haraldsson, 
Colin Browning and 
Alex Martin.
 
The "B" team will be made up of 
Josh Buxbaum, 
Rob Bergevin, 
Cole Bergheim, 
Aidan Browning and 
Jack Seward.
 
James Gradisek and 
Ben Locker will also compete as individuals.
 
Last year, App State finished third among 18 teams in what was then called the Bash at the Beach. Oral Roberts, which isn't in this year's field, won the team title by six strokes over UConn. Utah Valley's Caden Weber was the individual medalist with an 8-under total of 205.
 
The 2024 spring season is presented by the Hound Ears Club.
