BOONE, N.C. – With Sun Belt Conference play heating up, Mountaineer Talk, App State's weekly coaches show via the Appalachian Sports Network from Learfield, will shift its focus to basketball starting Monday, Jan. 6.
The show, presented by UNC Health Blue Ridge, will air LIVE at Rivers Street Ale House in Boone on Monday evenings from 7-8 p.m. Mountaineer Talk can be heard on flagship station WKBC 97.3 (North Wilkesboro, Charlotte, Hickory, High Country) and on WSJS 600 AM (Winston-Salem), WZGM 1350 AM/96.1 FM (Asheville) and WBRM 103.9 FM/1250 AM (Marion) while also being video streamed on the
App State Athletics Facebook page. Online audio options can also be found at
appstatesports.com or through the Varsity Network app with no subscription required.
Matt Present will serve as host of the show each week. He will be joined by men's basketball head coach
Dustin Kerns, women's basketball head coach
Alaura Sharp and a student-athlete from each program.
