BOONE, N.C. – App State Athletics is auctioning 12 game-worn helmets, one from each football game in the 2022 season, beginning Monday, Jan. 16. The auction will begin that day at noon with the first auction ending on Jan. 30 and subsequent auctions ending daily through Feb. 4.
The following 12 different helmets will be available:
- Black helmet worn vs. UNC
- Black helmet worn at Texas A&M
- Black helmet with stripe and white block A worn vs. Troy
- Black helmet with stripe and Yosef secondary mark worn vs. JMU
- Black helmet worn vs. The Citadel
- White helmet with stripe worn at Texas State
- Gold helmet with stripe and 1962 helmet design elements worn vs. Georgia State
- Black helmet worn vs. Robert Morris
- White helmet with stripe worn at Coastal Carolina
- Gold helmet with stripe worn at Marshall
- Heroes Day helmet worn vs. Old Dominion
- Black helmet worn at Georgia Southern
Each helmet will start with a minimum bid of $400, with a $50 minimum bid increase. Shipping and pickup options are available.
