BOONE, NC – App State women's tennis looks to build off of its recent success with two Sun Belt road matches this weekend. The Mountaineers will visit South Alabama at 10 a.m. ET on Saturday before traveling to South Alabama at 10 a.m. ET on Sunday.

SCOUTING THE MOUNTAINEERS (5-11, 3-4 SBC)
- Helena Jansen earned the Sun Belt Player of the Week Award for her undefeated play last week.
- App State has won its last two matches, defeating Louisiana 4-2 and ULM 4-0 to improve its record to 4-2 at home.
- Jansen leads the team in singles wins with 14, followed by Erika Dodridge with 12. Both Jansen and Dodridge have won five straight singles matches.
- Dodridge and Ellie Murphy lead the Mountaineers in doubles action, each with a record of 8-11.
SCOUTING THE JAGUARS (17-3, 7-1 SBC)
- South Alabama has won all of three of its most recent matches by a score of 4-0, defeating Texas State, Troy and Arkansas State.
- The Jaguars' sole Sun Belt loss came in a 4-0 defeat to UT Arlington.
- At home, the squad is 13-1 so far this season.
SCOUTING THE TROJANS (8-11, 3-5 SBC)
- Troy won its last match 4-3 against Arkansas State.
- Michelle Ncube leads the team in singles wins with 15, followed by Hagar Amin and Kristina Kukaras with eight each.
- Ncube also leads the Trojans in doubles wins with 13, followed by Andrea Widing and Anastasiia Khokhlova with nine apiece.

After this weekend, the Mountaineers will have two regular season matches left. The squad will visit Charleston Southern on Apr. 14 before traveling to Georgia Southern on Apr. 16.
