BOONE, N.C. — The Boone Bigfoots, the High Country's new summer baseball team, will make their official debut on Beaver Field at Jim and Bettie Smith Stadium with a 6 p.m. home game on Friday, May 28, against the Statesville Owls.
The Bigfoots, who have partnered with App State Athletics, will compete in the Textile League that's an independent summer wooden-bat league for collegiate players from across the country.

clicking HERE. The Bigfoots have a 25-game home schedule this summer running from May 28 to mid-August.
After the May 28 opener, the next day on Saturday will be Diamonds & Whiskey Concert Night, with the band performing a concert following the 5 p.m. game against the Greensboro Monarchs.

The Bigfoots are a non-profit organization with a mission to offer exciting, high-level summer baseball to the High Country and provide scholarship support to App State Athletics.
Bigfoots owner and local resident Bob Wilson, who lives in the High Country with his wife and two Australian shepherds, is an entertainment industry veteran with 35-plus years of experience directing or producing films and television series, including production of the popular "Cobra Kai" series on Netflix. The team will have many other ties to the Mountaineers.
